Contact-Free Delivery and Pick up

Rest assured that our policies are current with recommendations from the World Health Organization.

The risk of contracting the corona virus from food deliveries or pickups is very low, but you can take a few extra steps to further reduce your chances of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

Hanna-Lee’s will clean and dis-infect all high-touch point surfaces as a preventive measure in food production areas (e.g., equipment, utensils, telephones, keyboards, door handles, etc.), as viruses are persistent and can stay infectious for a long period. This will be done during food service preparation and right before your designated pickup or delivery time. Single-use gloves, protective clothing e.g. aprons and chef’s coats and medical grade masks will be worn at all times.

Contact-Free Pick up

1. Upon arrival, simply send us a message or call to let us know you’ve arrived.
2. We require that customers remain inside their vehicles with their windows up, and a mask on should you need to ever bring your window down to communicate.
3. Have your driver’s license ready for display through the driver’s window to confirm you are the person designated to pickup the order.
4. Keep your trunk open. Please clear a clean and secure space in your trunk before arrival. If you don’t have a secure trunk space simply keep your mask on and lower your passenger’s window and the package will be placed on the passenger’s car seat.

Contact-Free Delivery

1. With contact-free delivery, you can safely request your order be left at your door, in your lobby, or any other safe place at your delivery location. Hanna-Lee’s will call or text once we drop off your sweet treat.
2. Prior to delivery, ensure someone is present to receive your order at the delivery location.
3. We recommend your address, and any delivery instructions are up to date so that items leaving the dessert studio can be left in the right spot.
4. We require that customers remain inside their homes or maintain a 6 feet social distance with a mask on should you need to ever step outside of your home to communicate whilst items are delivered.
5. Please note the food itself is considered very low risk for contracting the virus, however, the food containers might be able to transmit COVID-19. We will disinfect all food service packaging before delivery. You my chose to transfer food items from the studio’s container to your own containers or dishes and immediately dispose of them. Disinfect any surfaces that the containers touched. Immediately wash your hands for 20 seconds using soap and water.
